comments off. [completely sooc- my year 8 social.]

I don't know how to exactly put this in words but it annoys me everytime, trying to explain this.
Okay. The only way I can do this is to create a story (this is on-the-spot by the way, so sorry for the bad grammer/vocab):

She entered the foyer with an nervous excitement, she was looking forward to capture some of the upcoming night's moments. As she signed her name off the class roll, she received a slip of paper with the words: You are Minnie Mouse, Find Mickey.
And so she laughed. She looked over her friend's shoulder to see that her slip told her that she was Katie Price, her other friend had Lindsey Lohan. They giggled, speculating on who their partners may be. But as they walked towards the entrance to the social, the girl felt as if strange invisible string was restraining her from becoming excited. She wondered if it was the fact that she knew she didn't belong in this place, though she shred off the doubt and entered the hall with a forced smile upon her face.
***
Twenty minutes into the three hours of the social and the girl was already becoming tired. Not physically, mentally. She hated the loud music, she hated the fact that everyone had put up all these decorations on their walls to hide who they really were. And furthurmore she without question knew that almost every person who was at the social were judging everybody else on their appearance. She hated that.
"Hey, do you happen to know who Mickey is?" she asked one of the girls that was in her class.
"Oh yeah, I do! He used to go to my primary school!"
"Oh okay. Is he nice?"
"Yeah, 'course! Well, I'm not sure since I haven't spoken to him in ages, but he used to be. Do you want me to show you who he is?"
She shuffled away. "No, no, it's fine! I'll-"
"See that guy, with the white top and black jacket, that's him."
She swallowed. Without her glasses everything that wasn't within five metres was a blur. She clutched onto her camera, the only thing she could depend on for comfort and security.
She glanced around for her friend. Her friend smiled at her, she knew who the girl's partner was- she could see him.
They walked into the centre of the hall-turned-dancefloor, suddenly the girl's friend said 'That's him!' and tilted her chin to the guy they had just passed.
He was your typical blonde-hair blue-eyes type of guy. He was one of those people who would easily slide onto the top of the social ladder of popularity. But she couldn't judge by appearance.
After passing him a couple more times (and each time losing her confidence and courage to talk to him), her friend finally became frustrated and shoved her into him- giving her no choice but to apologise and ask.
You see, when you had found your partner, you were meant to go out to the foyer and fill out a form/survey/get-to-know-each-other quiz together.
"Hi, umm, sorry about that," she started before stammering on, "Are you Mickey Mouse?"
She noticed a look pass his face, was that a grimace as well?
"Yeah." he simply grunted before turning away to talk to his friends.
On first instinct she turned away as well, but she felt deflated. Why? Why did everyone else seem to be having so much fun, but she wasn't? Why?
***
After trailing her so-called friends for another two hours, she gave up. She decided to let them drift off, dancing away under the bright lights to loud throbbing music until their feet hurt. She bet they wouldn't notice she wasn't with them. She bet her life that they wouldn't come and ask her to dance with them. So-called friends. How nice.
She entered the cafeteria to grab a slice of pizza to eat, but just as she was about to sit down, someone grabbed her arm.
"Hey, omigosh, hey!" It was a girl that used to go to her tutor. "Omigosh, I haven't seen you in ages! How have you been?"
"Aww hey! You look so pretty in that dress! I know right, it's been what? A year- I missed you! Haha, to be honest, I've had a pretty crappy night," she admitted, but not willing to spill her thoughts just yet. She decided to continue the conversation. "Have you seen a Mickey Mouse?"
"Yeah, I have! He's this asian guy with a white top and a stripey jacket- about your height"
Hold on. The guy that she had just described was the complete opposite of the person who she had met previously- the boy who she definitely knew was Mickey had blonde hair and was wearing a plain black jacket.
"Are you sure?"
Her tutor friend looked confused. "Yeah, of course! Why?"
"It's just... Wait, are you positive that he wasn't a blonde haired guy who was wearing a black jacket?"
"Nup, he was wearing a striped jacket. Go find him, he's really nice!"
***
She wasn't sure if she should go look for this new Mickey. But she did anyway, she wanted to know if it was true.
It took only a few minu

Brown Paper Package Tied Up With String

Brown Paper Package Tied Up With String

A tantalizing package from Mickey Mouse to the mysterious "Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Ellis" who live above Aunt Peg's Village Store in the Cape Code Village section of Tokyo DisneySea.

The vintage-looking mail holder (labelled "Postal Service") is just a decoration on a side wall of this gift shop at TDS. The shop has an old-time Cape Cod look and specializes in selling Duffy and Shellie Mae dolls and accessories.

Does anyone know who "Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Ellis" might be? I assume it's some sort of typical Disney in-joke or tribute. At first I thought it read "J. Wellis," but Linsday Cave found a building on the American Waterfront section of the park labeled "J. W. Ellis and Sons Lobster Fishing," so I'm sure this ties in with that. Still no idea if there's a real-world J. W. Ellis with a Disney connection, though.
